TV Mounting and 7.1 speaker installation March 31, 2010

Guys were able to mount my 46" Sony on wall and hide the power cord and all audio/video using the outlet relocation kit. Then cutout ceiling drywall for (6) in-ceiling speakers and went up in attic to fish all speaker wire thru attic and down the wall. Finished it off by connecting my subwoofer, center channel speaker, and cable box, Wii, xbox 360 and blu-ray. Neatly tied up all connecting cables behind my theater cabinet and made sure everything was working properly. Cleaned up all trash, and vaccumed the entire area making sure no mess was left behind. The TV looks great on the wall instead of the stand and the surround sound is amazing. Overall I would definitely use Zip instead of anybody, and will definitely use again! Great job Manny and Thomas from Van Nuys, Ca.!!

I was concerned about hiring an online service to wall mount my TV. But it worked out well but only due to the knowledge of the installer. The wall bracket kit that was sent did not have the mounting screws necessary to hold my TV. The installer used some of his personal mounting brackets and screws to get my TV up and running. My situation was drywall mounted on metal studs. The kit provided did not have reliable options for either application. I would suggest that the equipment be included in these kits that would make these installations much easier and reliable. I would suspect I had my install area well prepared with tubing run through the wall and all jacks in place and I was lucky and got a qualified installer.

The technician arrived on time, found that I was missing a few pieces. He assisted me in getting them, installed the tv, cleaned up, and left. Very efficient.

Bought a ZIP installation package through Target when I purchased my 42 inch TV. Despite 2 major snowstorms in the past 5 days the installers were right on time. Brought everything they needed to wall mount my TV, set up my cable and dvd player, and clean up afterward. They asked and listened to my input, and made sure I had no questions or problems before they packed up to go. The whole process took less tha 2 1/1 hours. (It probably would have taken me 8 - with much frustration!) I would recommend this service to anyone who asked.
