The newest medium to long range "yagi" dtv antenna from Winegard Co. The HD 7694P outperforms any antenna its size. It features exclusive retuning for UHF and VHF-Hi band only, which will bring you all HDTV and DTV channels from 7-69. VHF-Hi band is needed in 98% of 2009 DTV markets.

Winegard exclusive driven element configuration boosts DTV performance to unprecedented levels. The HD7694P employs a compact weather proof cartridge housing where the phasing lines are coupled to state of the art surface mount coupler board to ensure the most efficient transfer of digital signal.

Saving $ makes sense October 8, 2009

This antenna is saving me roughly $105/mo, which adds up to more than $1,200 per year. I have crystal clear reception...FAR better than Comcast, which I think is partially due to the lack of encryption in the signal being transmitted. We only watched about 10 channels with cable and now have 25 to chose from with the antenna. I remember the days when television was free and I'm so glad to get back to that! My wife and I can afford a round trip ticket to Europe on the money we are saving.

Very good product. I had an winegard wing antenna that was working okay, but station was dropping out on 1 channel. I am about 10 miles from the towers and put this antenna up and now I am above 3/4 signal strength. I was a little worried about how big it would be, but it is a very reasonable. The shipping was fast initially saying 1 week, but received in 3-4 days.

Too Big for Attic May 28, 2009

I live in a covenant controlled neighborhood and they do not allow outdoor antennas.  The antenna finder at antennaweb.org pointed me to this antenna and I thought I would try to put this antenna in my attic.  The antenna was easy to get into the attic but It was very hard to open up all of the arm pieces.  I only managed to get about half of them opened up and I was very worried that my reception would suck.  I was happy to find out that I got 100% signal with only half of them open.  My advice would be to buy a smaller antenna if you have to put it in your attic.

I replaced a Radio Shack antenna with the Winegard and picked up about 5 points on signal strength. Easy to open into final configuration, lighter than the one it replaced. Just a good antenna.

I purchased this antenna to replace a Terk TV55 which was not providing consistent reception of digital channels in my location. I live about 30-35 miles from the towers in a neighborhood with lots of trees. The Winegard HD7694P added 10-15 points to the signal strength of all the stations it is pointed at and so far not a single drop out or lost signal. It includes the rubber boot to cover the RF connector and a decent manual. very satisfied.
