Good Installer February 18, 2010 Reviewer: Thomas W. Pitcock "mrwhipple" from New Orleans, LA   I was concerned about hiring an online service to wall mount my TV. But it worked out well but only due to the knowledge of the installer. The wall bracket kit that was sent did not have the mounting screws necessary to hold my TV. The installer used some of his personal mounting brackets and screws to get my TV up and running. My situation was drywall mounted on metal studs. The kit provided did not have reliable options for either application. I would suggest that the equipment be included in these kits that would make these installations much easier and reliable. I would suspect I had my install area well prepared with tubing run through the wall and all jacks in place and I was lucky and got a qualified installer. Thank you for your feedback on this review. Delivered what was promised February 18, 2010 Reviewer: Sharon Stafford from NA   Bought a ZIP installation package through Target when I purchased my 42 inch TV. Despite 2 major snowstorms in the past 5 days the installers were right on time. Brought everything they needed to wall mount my TV, set up my cable and dvd player, and clean up afterward. They asked and listened to my input, and made sure I had no questions or problems before they packed up to go. The whole process took less tha 2 1/1 hours. (It probably would have taken me 8 - with much frustration!) I would recommend this service to anyone who asked. Thank you for your feedback on this review. We appreciate your input!

Great service - they aim to please! February 18, 2010 Reviewer: Biju Philip from Chicago, IL United States   Jake took my service request and did an exceptional job through it all. He was extremely quick to respond - even on weekends. One component that they ordered came a bit late, but Zip made sure to send the technicians out again when the unit arrived at no extra cost to me. The technicians stayed late to wire my home theater system and really wanted to make sure that we were happy. Given that they lived 2 hours away, it was great to see such a level of service. Jake also recommended an IR receiver so that I can house components in my closet and just point my remote at the TV. Very clean. Some tips: -Put down sheets/tarps/painter's plastic in the area for which the work will be done. Our theater install involved a lot of dust (think baby powder in the air, everywhere). -Clearly document your request so that Zip technicians knows exactly what to expect. Fortunately, I had all the components and speaker wire, but had to pick up an HDMI cable last minute. -Buy HDMI cables on amazon. They are SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper here than your average big box store. -Map out on paper exactly what you need done. This helps the technicians immensely, particularly for more complex jobs. TV Mounting they did January 21, 2010 Reviewer: Patricia Long from Dubuque, IA United States   I must say that I am very impressed with the work that they did for our living room.  Installer was Ray and he had a helper that I didn't catch his name.  They were very nice and they were very careful to not let my spastic dogs run out the front door when that entered and exited.  I bought this from the Amazon referral because of the coupon and I am 100% impressed and satisfied.  PL Thank you for your feedback on this review.
